Light a Candle

All three of these images are from the *oldest church in Paris, Saint-Germain- des- Prés. Dating from the 6th Century, this is just a beautiful church in the 6th arrondissement.

* This is according to the website: Sacred Destinations. I understand that there are differing opinions regarding the oldest church in Paris. You decide.

I was there in December and it's beautiful. I'll be living in the area this next trip so will visit it again. Beautiful photos, as usual.

Beautiful. Funny, I always light the candles when I visit churges in Europe. Never do that in the states.

I love the red and really, everything, about that top photo.

I won't join the fray about the oldest church in Paris. There are too many variables and a lot of information is missing. I'll just join the others who say it's a beautiful place in a beautiful city.

Starman,
Wise you are! Ha Who would want to get in a contest with the French over "OLD"!HA

K,
Well I'm flattered since you are the ace of light and especially candlelight.

Merci AH and Karen
