Église Saint Sulpice

Église Saint Sulpice may sound familiar. It played a major role in The Da Vinci Code.  It is currently undergoing major exterior refurbishing.  It's a beautiful church to visit. Thanks to my friend Mary Gilbert who made sure I got inside to see it.

How gorgeous! Especially that top photo. The bottom one is very effective. One can't help but imagine the owner of those bags out of view.

I apologize for the coming and going of this post this morning. Are Blogger gremlins snatching it off? Beats me!

We've visited a small apartment for my daughter rue Saint Sulpice, just on the side of the church, but it was so tiny that it was impossible. What a pity, the address was great!

Saint Sulpice has been ongoing repair/maintenance for quite some time now.

The churches of Paris are all so fabulous! This is one we missed, so thanks for showing it. Gorgeous...we'll have to make a special effort to get there the next time around.
