Wonderful photos as usual. Beautiful shot of La Tour complete with autumn leaves and blue sky! The look on the man's face -- priceless! Can't imagine what he was thinking. Steps of Sacre Coeur? And the Louvre from any angle of anything. Thanks.

You anticipated my question about the smoking man. Did he catch you at it? All are wonderful shots.

Monsieur avec du vin doesn't seem very happy... Did he react? :-)
Fantastic shots! The 'Remembering' is just lovely!

The man may not have appreciated you taking his photo, but we do! Once more bravo for the Paris atmosphere!

Jill, It wasn't Sacre Coeur, but I will have to ask Peter where it was. I am guessing Madeliene Church.

Petrea and JM, That's all the reaction of got. Probably too much vin, oui??

Peter, I remember that when I took it you commented that he didn't look all too pleased about it! Another example of a shot I tried to walk past but had to turn around and snap.

Great Eiffel Tower shot. I love the way you framed it. All of these are just great. I really wish I was in Paris right this minute.

And next time, if you agree, we'll go together to Le Louvre, I'm pretty sure I can show you some treasures...

As a set my favourite to on a "lets talk photography" level. Mr smoker is an astonishing image of the human condition. I have seen so many images staged like this that just don't work, they have to be spontaneous and oh so natural. You raised the bar on that one.

B,
Ha, he provided his own "bar" on the steps of the Opera Garnier! Glad you liked it. I thought you would. I think i had to use the darn flash but so be it.

KM , I wasn't up for a fight, it was our first night in Paris you now. Later on , I got more brave.

It must be nice to be able to hang out in public, drinking a WHOLE bottle of wine, smoking, and looking like a disapproving rabbit. Are you sure you weren't somewhere in Louisiana?
