Hi V. I was without power for going on 4 days, so I am finally catching up with all your wonderful sightings. This is a marvelous shot of La Tour, and wow, what a blue sky! And the beautiful light you caught in Ste. Chappelle. It's always such a pleasure to stop by your blog!!

I agree that both the shots of St Chappelle that you have posted are outstanding. When I was there in October I listened to a performance of Vivaldi's "Four Seasons". I was in floods of tears by the end - just overwhelming.

I like the variety of photos on each of your sets but the monothematic carrousel post is awesome too! Wonderful shots, V.!

so many amazing shots! Was she singing Edith Piaf?

Isn't Saint Chappelle the most amazing place you've ever seen? I was mesmerized when I visited there.

Jill,
4 days with no power and I would be up the wall. Glad to have you back with us.

KM, I don't remember what she was singing. Might have been opera, maybe my friend Karen or Peter will recall. I liked the hat below her for donations. I should have given her something!

Saint Chappelle is amazing. I can bore you all to death with photos and the sun wasn't even shining!! I may have to post another one or two! I would love to hear a concert there. It is a very special place for sure.

Thanks JM, I have two more theme days done and maybe another. I'll sprinkle them in.

Well of course the little sparrow is the one for me. Who could pass her by, From any angle always a winner and the alter colours are glorious warming tones.

roentarre,
It was very chilly but that day it was at least sunny. November in Paris is.....rainy, cold, overcast but....FABULOUS as always.

Omami, I could translate. Merci beaucoup!!!

and thanks, B!!!

I was hoping we were going to get to see La Chanteuse again!

I can't either remember exactly what she was singing, but it was definiteley "classic", going well with the Opera building behind her. I guess she would have preferred to sing inside the building, but so many have these dreams.

Peter,
Glad to have you back with us. I remember you thought she was not that accomplished, but we gave her an A for effort and she sure made for some great photos.

Ypu certainly have a knack for people portraits. The alter at Saint Chapelle is marvelous. Awe inspiring to sit inside and simply marvel at all that stained glass. Which I spent much time trying to photograph.
