City Daily Photo Theme Day - Entry

L'église Saint-Paul-Saint-Louis is one of my favorite churches in Paris. Located on rue St. Antoine in the Marais, it also offers a hidden side entrance on Passage St. Paul that I love to use. This door and lock show the age of this beautiful old church completed in 1641.

Today, my City Daily Photoblog friends around the world are sharing their version of our monthly theme.  Click here to see them all!

Sturdy and beautiful. Too bad churches have to be locked.

That is an interesting colour choice for a church door. And even the lock looks different - and perhaps, substantial.

«Louis» lived just down the street from this church when he lived in Paris - and he knows the hidden entry of which you speak! :-)
