L'église Saint-Paul-Saint-Louis is one of my favorite churches in Paris. Located on rue St. Antoine in the Marais, it also offers a hidden side entrance on Passage St. Paul that I love to use. This door and lock show the age of this beautiful old church completed in 1641.

A very enticing entry Virginia, wonderful rusty aged lock.. la couleur is tres jolui.
Sturdy and beautiful. Too bad churches have to be locked.
This is fabulous! Such mood and texture -- I love everything about this one including the muted colors.
ohhhhh super color and texture and chippiness!
I like OLD doors.
This has got a really nice color.
Very good photo for the theme today. Love it!
It looks quite worn, but very welcome!
splendid image. I love the color
That is an interesting colour choice for a church door. And even the lock looks different - and perhaps, substantial.
cleverly done
How beautiful!! Great shot!
Ah, this photo works wonderfully for the "entry" theme.
I love your eye for these beautiful old details.
«Louis» lived just down the street from this church when he lived in Paris - and he knows the hidden entry of which you speak! :-)
good "entry"
The age of the door and its many colors of paint add texture and detail... love it!
