Le spectateur

I find the spectators around the pétanque courts at Luxembourg Gardens  as interesting as the players! Every trip back to Paris, I find the time to come here and watch. Paris moments I treasure.

I think the games must go on non-stop there. And these guys are serious about their pétanque.

A good portrait. So that's what petanque is!

Looks as if le spectateur may be having a moment of quiet contemplation concerning the next play. Either that or a short snooze. :-)

Yes! I like watching the watchers too, V. :~}

Fresh air and people. Much better than staying inside and watching the TV.

So, this is where I should hang out if I want to be noticed?

It is difficult to beat people watching in Paris - one of my favourite past times when I visit the City of Light. Warm regards.
