Bonsoir Virginia-- In Paris, people-watching does not just happen at street-level! Much better view from above ;-) Btw, I left a message on Natalie's blog and told her how burglars had recently stolen my laptop with all my pictures of Nice and the Riviera. Do you know what she did? She sent me a link to the video her husband made in St Paul de Vence, a favorite village of mine. Très sympa, non? Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
A window with people are great photography subject ! a good one today from you !!!
Regarder, ou peut-être rêver.
Elle guette peut-être son fiancé qui n'arrive plus...
Une photo intéressante.
Gros bisous
I wonder what Isabelle sees down the the avenue...
Et alors ma baguette cherie, elle arrive demain ou quoi???
I love looking up
If I had a Paris apartment I would be looking out, too. Your "looking up" view as a photographer is a great perspective.
Fab image Virginia, I spent quite a bit of time when I was in Paris observing street comings and goings from my little balcony, was so very, very interesting.
Observing streets and people is a joyfull passe-temps, and so interesting§! You (we all!)are doing the same with y/our camera, in a kind of way!:)
Well-captured, V! If I had a little balcony in Paris like this, I wouldn't need a TV. :~} Last place I stayed in Paris had a 2nd-floor (or I guess there it's the 1st floor) view of rue des Rosiers—that was some fine, fine people-watching!
You have been snooping on the snoopers, Virginia.
Veronique, I'm not surprised. Natalie is a delight and I'm so happy she contacted me. Blog friends abound! :)
Jack, I"m a born snooper. At an early age my grandmother found me looking in the neighbors' window!
Had you been on the right street at the right time of year, that could have been me you captured.
Thank you dear Virginia for inviting your friends to my blog. You are always a Guest of Honour on Jewel Yet to Find.
And I'm open this window daily to look down what's up on the streets of Paris.
Thank you for a truly friendly welcoming to blogworld and for daily delight.
All your last Christmas photos are great, but this picture is so melancholy, and peaceful to look at. Reminds me of my grandmother who used to sit in the window and watch life go below.
We think alike! I love taking and seeing photos like this. :)
