Channeling Chanel

My dear and faithful blog friend Véronique, French Girl in Seattle, is my inspiration today.  My French Life featured some of my Christmas windows this week,  and she commented that tlast year there were some delightful windows at Printemps with little Coco Chanel dolls.  As luck would have it.........voilá!!!  I'd been saving this adorable window for just the right time. Ma chère Véronique... pour toi!

My gosh they know how to do it, don't they. Both whimsical and elegant. And I can't quite tell if the paper is cut or painted - I'm leaning towards painted - but it's lovely work either way.

My dear Virginia, merci beaucoup ;-) I just came home and found this post... You made my evening and I can now tuck in for the night, my head full of miniature Mademoiselles ;-) Coco Chanel has her own special category on my blog, as you know, and I am thinking my next dog, a French bulldog, will HAVE to be named
"Coco." See how perfect this post was? Hugs to you! Joyeux Noël! Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

I wonder what Coco's reaction to these dolls would be?

These dolls are adorable! Printemps and Galeries Lafayette must start working on window displays in January! What talented folks. Perfect photo for the season. And Jaques Brel singing in the background.....Joyeux Noel!

Trés chic, mais pas de Noël.

This is delightful. All in beige, and interest in the foreground, center and background. Keep on like this and one of these days you will have photography all figured out.
