A View J'adore!

As we made our way down from Montmartre that afternoon, we gasped at this spectacular view. The dome of  les Invalides sparkles in the distance.  I love the rooftops and chimney pots!

I love the area of montmarte and how you can see over all of Paris. Fantastic shot V! One of my favourites.

The view is an exquisite slice of Paris from the detail of the near-view of window-boxes to the distant Invalides... stunning, V.

Isn't it amazing that such a huge city can be so walkable when you are there on the ground!

That's a great shot. There are some really great views from Montmartre. Sadly, for me, I can't trek those hills anymore. Well, what I can do is take the métro or a bus to the top and walk down.

Wow—this one's a beauty! And your eye kind of stops at the dome of Invalides, so you don't really notice the newer buildings beyond. It's a classic, V.

I had never really explored Montmartre (can you believe it??) until last September. And now, of course, can't wait to be back in that spot...

Oh, I want to live in that grey shack, the one just below the chimney pots.

Oh I love it when my dear friends stop by and chat about my photo. I think we all agree that the walk down from Montmartre is just the most wonderful view of Paris. It is often a struggle up for me, but this day it was a delight to see this wonderful sight as we walked DOWN! :) Thank you all for joining me.
