Tamano

Oh I LOVE  this charming little sign with the chartreuse storefront and the obligatory lantern advertising ....CHASSURES! I'm still shaking my head over the fact that Mary and I  (shoe lovers extraordinaire) didn't step inside and have a look!

What a cute post, Miss Virginia. I'm sure you'll come back a Paris soon! When you do, you'll go inside that shoe store? You'll tell us what you saw? There's a lot of us crazy about shoes!
Here's something for you:

It's an old song called Mademoiselle de Paris.

Such a lovely sign and lovely photograph Virginia, it would make a superb card or a book-cover. I'd definitely buy the book with this on it's cover!!

For real, I can't believe you didn't go inside either! Lovely photo, agree that it would make a wonderful card.

From the link you have provided, it looks like you could have gone in and had some shoes 'custom made' to your liking! Great photo.

This has to be in the Marais.

Starman,
Behind Centre Pompidou right next to the little shop with the baby hands and feet. :)

I'm sure if I'd gone inside, I would have just had a quick look around as I"m fairly certain these shoes are out of my price range!

Thanks to Maria for the lovely chanson today!

Wonderful street scene. I love the chartreuse and burgundy store fronts.

Judging by just this little bit of the place, it probably would have been way too much of a good thing. Your composition is brilliant, V!

This is a wonderful photo, and does it mean that it is on the passage Moliere? Is that a small walkway? This is a great advertisement for the store...You must send it to them...

This is where you learned that your love of photography is stronger than your passion for shoes?
:-)

A lovely sign.
