Passing Time

Long days at the Marché aux Puces. Vendors pass the time reading.

 One of the many things I love about the Marais is the diversity you find in such a small area. For a photographer, it's endless portraits of such beautiful faces.

Un peu

In January 2013,  Mary and I arrived in Paris to a lovely dusting of snow. We had a nice lunch first,  and then Peter and I headed straight to Tuileries for photos. Alas, it started raining and it made trekking through the gardens impossible. Dommage.

I have been photographing the chess players in Luxembourg Gardens for years. For the most part, it's the same men, deep in thought, no nonsense. Not this day!
