Passage du Grand Cerf

Passage du Grand Cerf is one of may favorite passages. I especially like the florist, and I found a sweet little yarn shop there on my last visit.

Paris Reflet

This last trip in November, we had beaucoup de pluie!!! All you can do is embrace it and try and keep your camera dry.

Today, I join James' Weekend Reflections, a group that I love! Click HERE to see more from around the world.

Après l'école

I enjoy watching the kiddos walking home for lunch or after school with their parents, grandparents or nannies.

Le garçon à la fenêtre

He didn't seem a bit bothered by the two crazy Americans with big cameras taking his photo!

L'amour à Paris

Another reason I love Paris. Love is always in the air and no one seems a bit shy about indulging.

Art Imitating Life

Taken just before the Métro doors slammed shut. I love the fact that now, I can't discern the real shadows from those on the walls.

Passing Time

Long days at the Marché aux Puces. Vendors pass the time reading.

Des sourires

One of the many things I love about the Marais is the diversity you find in such a small area. For a photographer, it's endless portraits of such beautiful faces.

Un peu

In January 2013,  Mary and I arrived in Paris to a lovely dusting of snow. We had a nice lunch first,  and then Peter and I headed straight to Tuileries for photos. Alas, it started raining and it made trekking through the gardens impossible. Dommage.

Chess in the Gardens

I have been photographing the chess players in Luxembourg Gardens for years. For the most part, it's the same men, deep in thought, no nonsense. Not this day!

Moto Reflet

I usually look for reflections in the rear view mirror, but this time, the windshield paid off.

I'm happy to join James' Weekend Reflections right HERE !

Deux Chaises

The only thing missing is the bottle of champagne.

Ferme

Due to inclement weather, the outside seating at the Jardin du Palais Royal was closed. Quelle dommage.

This photograph and many others will be featured in my upcoming photography exhibit at Independent Presbyterian Church during the month of February. For details about next week's Religious Arts Festival, click HERE
