The Master

looks down on one of his pieces in the newly restored Musée Rodin. I loved getting to visit the week it reopened last November. This small, jewel of a museum is probably my favorite in Paris. Merci Bonjour Paris for featuring my Rodin photo essay recently.

Art Appreciation

My granddaughter Eva, first saw Young Woman in a Floral Hat, at the Musée Rodin on our first trip in 2007 when she was just 5 years old. Two years later, she spotted it and remembered! It's never too early to share art with children.

Note that the Rodin has been closed for renovations and will reopen November 12. It is one of my favorite museums in Paris and I have visited 3 times.

L'escalier

I'm fairly certain that there's nothing more beautiful than a stairway in Paris. This especially elegant one from the Musée Rodin.

Les portes de l'enfer

Actually, viewed from the Rose Garden at the Musée Rodin, the Gates of Hell look quite welcoming!

Un moment zen

Perhaps he was channeling M. Rodin, or perhaps his feet hurt.
