Art Appreciation

My granddaughter Eva, first saw Young Woman in a Floral Hat, at the Musée Rodin on our first trip in 2007 when she was just 5 years old. Two years later, she spotted it and remembered! It's never too early to share art with children.

Note that the Rodin has been closed for renovations and will reopen November 12. It is one of my favorite museums in Paris and I have visited 3 times.

Just finished "The Paris Key" and I enjoyed it very much. I felt like I was taking a stroll through Paris. Love your photo on the cover and thank you for suggesting this very good read!

I'm glad they are renovating - when I was there 2 years ago it was looking a bit rough.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it too. I love the Maraos and there were so many places I knew. Thank you for your comment.

The Musee Rodin was my favorite place when we visited Paris 7 years ago. I loved the building, the gardens and of course the amazing sculptures! It's good to know it has undergone a renovation. I hope to be able to visit again!

A beautiful, beautiful take of both. The child is right into thoughts of the lady statue.

Such a nice photo!

I went to the Rodin Museum and it was kind of disappointing without the inside of the building available.
