Stop by 8 rue du Cherche-Midi and you will find Poilâne's charming flagship boulangerie. Dupuis 1932, they still bake bread here and at their other locations like they always have. In November, 2013, we stayed in a lovely apartment just doors from this very special Paris boulangerie. Of course we bought several of these wonderful loaves and enjoyed with wine and cheese, many nights.

Someday I am getting to this spot. I will find the most wonderful loaf of bread and photograph it everywhere -- and then devour it!
I imagine sourdough bread might feature in here somewhere!

I like this. Monogrammed bread. But only to the trained eye as many will think it's just a pretty design. Either way, it is. :)
I will never forget walking through the streets of Paris and the sights of the bread in the bakeries V.
