Sunday Church Series - Église Saint-Severin

One of the oldest churches on the Left Bank, I especially love this church for it's beautiful palm tree shaped pillars and of course the colorful and more contemporary stained glass windows by artist Jean Renée Bazaine created in 1970. We revisited this special church this last November. It is one of my favorites.

Today I pray for the safety of all those coming into Paris to march and show their solidarity, but also for my dear friends who live there. My heart is heavy with worry for you all.

Another of my favorites. I was there for Holy Week last year. May all Parisians be safe...

Beautifully lit shot, Virginia.

Today we are all Parisians.

Great color contrast, interesting composure and the dimly lit column in the background adds to the mystic. . . . Super photo!

It was an incredibly moving day. I wish I could say I was there in Paris to watch first hand but had to settle for the live stream on France24. I heard many times that "France would never be the same again".
