Very intent she is. The neck scarf really is de rigeur in Paris, isn't it--adults and children alike. If I recall correctly, I read that the neck scarf began centuries ago primarily as a way to keep warm, and eventually evolved into a fashion statement for everyone, Parisians in particular.
