Le plaisir du photographe

Boulevard Beaumarchais near the Bastille, is the place to browse for old and new cameras in Paris
...or maybe just a selfie! Keep in mind that if you are from the U.S., camera equipment and even memory cards and batteries will probably be much more expensive in Paris. I speak from experience!

I'm happy to be again joining James' Weeekend Reflections today.

Virginia, my Dad owned that middle camera. You brought back some memories.

looks like you're being swamped by the paparazzi Virginia :) Love the vintage camera reflections.

Reminds me of the documentary I just saw of Vivian Maier. Did you see it; wonderful flick on her sad but highly productive photographic life. Still thinking about it.

You know I love (the subject of) that selfie! My Dad had one of those cameras too. When I was little, I thought of it as the "magic box."

Simply marvelous. And yes, you're right about the price of memory cards at least! Beautiful image.
