Les préparations

Le Reminet

Today as all of us celebrate Thanksgiving here in the U.S., perhaps my expat friends in Paris will dining on something more French.  Today I am most grateful for my family, friends here and around the world. Bon appétit!

Happy Thanksgiving, Virginia! Your expat friends in Paris will be enjoying "dinde" instead of "turkey" (that's a very elegant bird, who wears a silk scarf and high heel shoes...) :-) Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

I trust you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Although I'm not from the USA, I find myself stopping to reflect on what I am thankful for too as you celebrate this day.

Virginia; the Reminet is the ONE PLACE I'd eat if I only had ONE meal in Paris - unfailingly wonderful, great food and immaculate service - love it and love your photo!
Happy Thanksgiving to you.

I love the mirror and the candlesticks! I´ve never been to this restaurant, but I´ve already passed by and photographed it from the outside.

Either of the two tables to the front would be just fine thanks Virginia. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Thanks to Virginia and Genie (Paris and Beyond), my 92 year old friend and I had a Sunday lunch at this wonderful restaurant. One of our best meals during our trip! Thank you so much for letting us know about this restaurant. Word of advice: call ahead and make a reservation!
