La grille

Winding our way through this divine little out of the way street ( there was a sign, "PRIVÉ"- phfffttt ) on our way to have a look at  Le Procope, I found so many things to photograph that it took longer than expected!

Fabulous photo V. The age, wear and water damage to that concrete wall presents an intriguing facade to what might lay beyond the grille. Hope it's not a pack of snarling Bullmastiffs.

The photo, and the garden, are framed just right. I think what's inside must be a secret garden! The imagination soars! Hope you enjoyed the restaurant.

So, did you wander through the "privé" gate or did you push to find it locked? I love these vines which are a delight no matter the season.

Such a pretty little gated entry. I'm with Genie on the vines...they look as pretty without leaves as they do with them. :)

It always pays to take a look (privé or not)—it certainly did in this case!

I see what you about taking "a look at Le Procope"; the exterior is so charming. Now, about the food...
