La lumière dans la fenêtre

I was sitting at a café overlooking the Stravinsky Plaza and Fountain early one evening and while some kids kicked a soccer ball around I looked up and saw the light in those windows.  Oh my.  I always love to imagine what's going on inside!

Peter has done a nice job posting more about the church there on the left,  l'Église Saint -Merri right here.

Tout comme vous, je m'interroge souvent en regardant les lumières derrières les fenêtres...
Une énigme jamais élucidée mais entraîne à la rêverie.
Belle photo et très joli lien...
Gros bisous

I do the same V!
we had a hotel in St Michel a couple of years ago which looked out onto a beautiful Paris building.
From our window I could see into the rooms - it was exactly where I would like to live in Paris. The occupant was an elderly lady of impeccable taste...i would love to have met her!!
...the lives of others.

The light in the windows always triggers my imagination especially in such a fascinating setting. Night shots are always intriguing. Me too Virginia, love looking up wondering...
P.S. Please stop by for my Gaudi post.

What goes on behind closed doors, I wonder if it's the same in Paris as it is in the rest of the world Virginia, only with more style and definitely more passion haha!

I'll admit I"ve always loved looking in windows and seeing what others' lives are like, even as child! Shane I would have done just the same !

Oh my, the colors are gorgeous. I love it when I see light in windows and sometime think when I see it that they are "a view into someone's soul".

Your curious nature has led you to more than one really good picture, V! And you've captured l'heure bleu too.

In an otherwise dark image, you have numerous sources of light. Street lamps, wall washing, and the light from two windows. Very nice, Virginia.

I also love to look inside windows and to imagine what is going on behind them, who may be living there. In Paris this pastime is especially thrilling ;-)
