Paris Rouge LXIX - En Voiture!!

Gare de Lyon

Monsieur Google was kind enough to translate this.  We all know that as available as he is, he can be a titch "off the mark". I welcome corrections for "All Aboard!"

My thanks to Véronique who so  kindly corrected the title for me. I've made the change!

Tut! Tut! Did the security man chat you up? I tried to take photographs at Gare du Nord in the style of Monet as I waited for the train to his gardens. But the security man wished a moment of my time.

How about "Tout le monde 'a bord le train!"
Oh, to take another European train ride.....

Julie, nobody stopped me this day. I think I'm blessed, I"ve taken photos a lot of places that later I found out were prohibited.

Merci Veronique for advising on the translation. I shied away from t hat one because "voiture" means car but now I see it can mean train car. I will change my title!

The red is so brilliant. This must be where French Henri Pottérs to go to L'école de Cochon-verroux!

the roof reminds me of the Stillwell Avenue elevated subway stop in Brooklyn/Coney Is.

You're welcome, Virginia! I agree with Paris Paul: This picture does remind me of Harry Potter (I am a big Harry Potter fan!) ;-) Wonder if they have a Platform 9 3/4 there? Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

The ironwork structure is wonderful, and it was very kind of them to repaint the columns to rouge for you. Nice shot.
