Virginia -- It is interesting that some of our favorite photos are "enhanced" by people who just popped in -- love it!

JB,
I think you were at my elbow when I shot this one. Across the street from the music store!

Genie,
Yes, I think the human element always or almost always adds interest.

Costea,
Thanks for your nice comment and visit here.

Henrietta,
Welcome. come often.

I do use the term "girl" loosely, of course....

Who're you calling a Loose Girl, JB?? :)

Sometimes the "human element" adds to the moment, but I wish they would be a tiny bit more considerate when they see you're shotting a picture.

Starman,
I shudder to think how many shots I"ve walked into trying to get my own. Sometimes I'm so intent , I forget to look around me.

Last weekend it was a festival of women with cameras more than once walking into one another's shot

This rider definitely adds to the composition—but where's his yellow shirt? I can't imagine how many pics I've walked into while crossing the Brooklyn Bridge—used to break my stride and wait for them to get the shot, but no more (though I'm short so I can often duck under).

Let's hope there are no bulls on the loose!

Oooooh I LOVE this, Virginia. If I'd taken this the man on the bike would have been a total blur. Somehow with you it's worked beautifully. Absolutely sharp background and that marvellous movement from the guy on the bike. I really like this shot.
