Paris Rouge XXIV - Où Sont Les Touristes?

It was January. It had snowed recently. It was cold. It was damp and foggy at Place du Tertre. Not a good time to be trying to entice les touristes. This hearty artiste was one of a very few that braved the inclement weather that day.

He looks as gloomy as the weather ... great portrait, V.

Judging from his attire, he's not too successful.

Starman, if he could have made me look like that portrait, I'd have paid him! :)

Daryl,
It was not a great day to be outside to paint/draw. I was amazed there were any there.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr......you've captured the cold and damp that the artist is braving so well, Virginia! Let's give the man a hot chocolate!

Ah, c'est moi! Well, it could have been before I discovered les macarons!

It might have been a good day to pick up a real bargain!

This is a great shot! I feel for the guy, but how amazing to see Place du Tertre empty like this.
