Were you there very early, to get such an intimate shot? Gorgeous—and good to see a man cleaning in the church of kept women!

This is a very peaceful scene, Virginia. You can almost "hear" the silence, perhaps a lone person's heels clicking down a distant hallway. I love "behind-the-scenes" photographs such as this. Other behind-the-scenes images that have always fascinated me are images such as a maid walking down a hallway of an elegant hotel and shiny luggage carts being whisked through the lobbies; restaurant scenes with their apron-adorned waiters and loaded trays standing by the tables; and doormen standing guard outside high-end buildings and stores in their fancy uniforms. I don't know what it is about these kinds of images that intrigues me.

Great capture of a quiet moment.

I also feel for this sweeper. Look at all those chairs to get under.
