Blanc

Palais Royal Gardens

Could anything be more beautiful? The Parisian photography gods were truly smiling on me this day! I am forever grateful.

I'm thrilled to announce that I am a cowinner of Richard Nahem's Marais Photo Contest on his great site: Eye Prefer Paris. I win a copy of Murder in the Marais by Cara Black!

If there is something more beautiful, I have a feeling you'll be there for it, V. Utterly gorgeous!!

Oooooooh, so you got it too while you were in Paris? Fantastic!

I presume it's not even a b&w photo, just natural colours ?

I just browsed through your last 6 or 7 posts (since my last visit) and oh what a great collection of photos there!
I particularly enjoyed the Merci shop.
Worth a visit next time I'm up there!

Nathalie,
Correct, this is the color shot. I"ve thought of going monochrome but like the color of the arches. Merci! :)

Oh, how lovely! Sometimes the crummy weather is worth it, non?

Beautiful and captivating. The French certainly know how to create perspective with those long rows of trees.

BEAUTIFUL, Virginia - but it made «Louis» want to run get his overcoat!

hee hee
The word verification is "hablar" - Spanish for "to speak". How did that get into a French-themed blog?! The Google gnomes must be having a little fun....

Congrats on being a winner on the Eye Prefer Paris blog. Your winning photo is one of my favorites!

On this photo, I also like the hint of color in the arches -- great idea to leave that in.

Merci for your wonderful comments. I think this photo has gone to the top of my list and may very well be an offering for two charity auctions I'm participating in here in B'ham. And yes, I do know how very fortunate I have been to visit the city j'adore so often and now...with the snow.
