This délicieux cup of café crème should warm you up on this cold winter day. Actually, I prefer expresso in Paris, but my friend's red cup with that great carafe d'eau in the background looked so inviting I had to have a photo!

I have booked an apartment today just down from the intersection of Rue Mouffetard & Rue Descartes.
Lovely photograph ... popping red.
Julie,
We'll have to chat about things to see and places to eat. You are in a fun neighborhood. If it's warm when you go, be sure to be at the bottom of Mouffetard around noon on Sundays. Dancing and singing in the street. Great FUN!
Café au lait dans une tasse rouge - c'est parfait.
I love this, as well as your awesome header,,,and ALL your excellent photography. Thanks for taking us along!
I love this photo it's the way I like to spend a perfect afternoon....Barb
Oooo oui oui, and your cassoulet that day was superb!
I used to drink nothing but café crème, then I somehow got used to what you call expresso, that I used to call cafe noir, but the French call simply, café.
It's little details like this that warm one's heart on a cold winter day... perfect, can almost smell it ! And can taste the little square of chocolate that comes with it ! (the best part...)
Owen, actually I prefer that almond with the chocolat or whatever on it. YUM.
Starman,
How I can drink those little cups of expresso with just the little tube of sucre and no crème is amazing. Ah well, when in Paris.......:)

Although, I'm not saying it's purrfect - where's de Macaron!?
Relly nice looking this cup! Your expresso cup was less attractive?
Mmmmmmmm... I only take milk in my coffee in Paris, where it's such a treat.
I had a chocolat chaud this weekend at a little chocolate shop here in Austin. It was nice, but not the same...
Peter,
I only drink expresso with you! I passed on the café that day.
Style,
Sadly a lot of things taste better there!
Every morning before going to work on Rue Lincoln (at the corner of the Champs-Elysées where Ladurée is now located) I used to drink un grand crème and eat une tartine. How I missed this breakfast when I moved to San Francisco.
