Pâques chapeaux

One of my most favorite shops in all of Paris is Ultramod's Millinery.  It's a walk back in time. Choose your hats, brims, trims.......the possibilities are endless. If I'm lucky enough to get back to Paris, I think I will go to Ultramod alone and spend as much time as my heart desires there.

One of the very lovely things about Paris ~ the bespoke element that's so alive and well there. I love those fluffy bits and pieces, dear V.

Easter bonnets remind me of my primary school education when we made hat creations in the art room in hope of being awarded the 1st prize (a chocolate egg) for the best Easter bonnet in the class.
One of the many delights about France is the reverence the French hold for the skill and patience of their traditional artisans. In turn, these artisans help to preserve and maintain the French culture – the culture which annually draws an incredible number of visitors to France’s shores . XXX

I love wearing hats but not many people wear them anymore. I looked in Atlanta to buy a pretty hat to wear at a wedding and had a very difficult time finding one. I’ll check your shop in Paris next time.

Gorgeous!! I remember how pretty the hat store windows in Rome were. I love European shops.
