SInger

If you travel to Paris, of course you must visit the Palais Royal.  It is no secret that it has become one of my most favorite spots in the whole city. Since my second visit in 2008, it's always on my To Do List.  I love the gardens for photographs and people watching, but the exquisite shops all along the arcade are just a delight.  Go, you'll thank me for this tip.

If this window display is anything to go it looks like quite a quirky place V. My list is growing.

What a fabulous window! I would have loved seeing that one in person!

Love the old Singer machines; they were just the very best. My grandmother sewed on a Singer in the early 20th Century. I still have an old Singer portable I purchased many moons ago in storage, and I'll bet I could get it out, plug it in and it would still sew perfectly. As Andrey might say, the Palais Royal might always be a good idea!

Take Virginia's advice! (I first visited the Palais Royal almost 50 years ago and it still feels special.)
