Sunday Church Series - La Madeleine

Taken from my seat as we awaited the choral concert at this beautiful church, as part of the Fête de la Musique . This festival of music which is held on June 21st, originated in France in 1982, but now is celebrated all over the world. La Madeleine was a spectacular venue for the choral concert. The acoustics were amazing.

What a fab experience Virginia, you can tell by the curve that the acoustics would be out of this world!

This is my idea of a calming experience - the beauty of the church and the music surrounding you.

What a gorgeous shot. It would have been such an amazing atmosphere. We attended a gospel concert at Eglise St Roch, it was sensational. I love how they get people into churches with music in Paris.
