Lumières de Noêl
It seems each neighborhood has it's own light displays during the holiday season. This one by St. Germain des Pres reminded me of those on the Champs Élysées several years ago.

Great display for the City of lights.
Il doit y avoir une coopérative d'achat pour les décos de Noël. On voit les mêmes un peu partout. A mon avis, c'est de l'argent bien mal employé.
So pretty, V! I'm a fool for fairy lights...
They look like flûtes of lights...
flashed me back to my grandmere's watching Lawrence Welk play 'tiny bubbles'
maybe they are moving them around from one street to the next the following year, ah les économies aussi à Paris!
I agree with VP, Virginia. Des flûtes de Noël. Parfait for Paris... Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
White lights instead of many colors, look pretty
Oh, they look like stars!
I love your new header, dear Virginia...

Beautiful display of lights! I love how simple strands of lights can bring such beauty and pleasure for you to look at. :)
I'm with VP too—champagne glasses for toasting le Réveillon de Noêl. They're beautiful, V!
They've started using those tree lights all over the city.
yes I saw them last wknd - I was in Paris with students for a conference and managed a wander down the Champs Elysees - Greetings from Nice
Love this; I am in Beaune now, and we have the same lights like this each year for the last few. Bonnes Fetes!
I want to catch the next plane out to see Paris all decked out for Christmas! St Germain-des-Pres is such a classy neighborhood .
Beautiful and fanciful. :) Love
