Garçon avec le chapeau

You met this boy earlier. I watched his dad chase him around Henri de Miller's  L'écoute,  by  Saint Eustache one sunny afternoon.  Here he is in person.  Perhaps he was a tourist, who knows.  I loved watching their fun and hearing his giggles as he raced around that day.

He may be a tourist but his jacket has a lot of style. I can see why you were enamoured by him.

Despite the casquette, I'm going to guess that he's un petit garçon français—or at least European. I can see why you couldn't resist him, V!

Are you sure this is a boy?

I'm with Alexa. I'm going to guess he's un jeune français from another part of the country. I wonder what memories of Paris he'll carry with him? He's got beautiful eyes; you did a wonderful job catching his soft and candid gaze. "Papa, je t'aime."

Time spent taking pictures of this young man and his dad would have been well spent. Nice portrait.
