Saw your question below where you were asking how to translate "Tacky" into French, and agree entirely with Starman's answer saying, "Moche", "Ringard", or "Vulgaire", though I might add as well : "Clinquant", "tape l'oeil", or "de mauvais goût", as well as "surchargé", "criard", or "pénible à regarder"... No accounting for taste I guess...
