Signes du Samedi - le marché

These chalkboard signs with similar script hang from almost all of the food stalls at Paris markets. I love them!

Yes it is nice that handwritten signs continue to be used...

Il y a souvent de grosses fautes d'orthographe, mais c'est encore plus drôle.

Oui, I love them too. Wish vendors in the US would adopt the idea.

They have an art all their own, don't they? But can you tell me, just under the KIWI on the left, what is that symbol - it appears to equal (=) 0.40 Euros. And what does FRA stand for?

What is a clemanville?

Starman -- perhaps a clemanville is just a citified clementine. I love these signs too, V -- and I miss them too!
