Virginia...had hoped to meet you..actually thought I saw you one day last week. Sorry to hear you are headed for USA...we're walking the Latin Quarter today. We are in Paris until 24th when we start our driving tour with friends. Love looking for all the little things in Paris that the tourist don't see. Internet has been spotty so this is first time I've checked your blog since we arrived on 3rd. Ah Paris..like you I could stay here forever. Martha

I didn't realize you were back in Paris, but as you know, I haven't been up to much of anything for the past three months, and it appears it will be quite a while before I can even think of another trip.
Let's pretend that you ordered that champagne for a get-together with all of your friends....but you would need more bottles if that were the case!
And what an exquisite sight it is! I would want to linger in Paris for a few more hours. Slip on an ice blue gossamer gown, wear my hair upswept, and enjoy a glass or two of that champagne with Cary Grant. Of course i'd have to travel back to the Paris of the mid 60s... but that would be divine...

Starman, I was there in Jan. And as you know, one week was NOT enough. I"m glad you're on the mend. Paris will wait for you. :)
A fine scene, Virginia. A few more bottles of champs in that nice silver bucket and you will have enough of the bubbly stuff to get a party off to a good start.
