Lolita this way

I just realized something while perusing my Paris photos. Many times I'm so intent on getting the front of a shop, the signage, the window that I don't even think to go inside! I'm sure this has saved me a great deal of money in the past.  Lolita ...I have no idea what was for sale there. I must go back.

The oh so élégante door sign was featured here.  I have made this image available on Red Bubble on the sidebar.

Oh yes very intriguing indeed Virginia, that surely deserves a peek inside!

This sign is very elegant, restrained and old-fashioned. I like it! Where is the shop?

Both signs are lovely, V. I'm not a great window shopper, so it would definitely be safer for me to stay outside.

I wonder if there were any red heart-shaped sunglasses for sale?

I tried Google but apparently, the shop wasn't there when they went past with their cameras.

Hmmm....oh I think you might have created a wonderful game today -- guess what is inside.
You are right though, I find myself captivated by the windows of Paris, so much so I dont venture in but peer in the window like a child with her nose to the glass.
I thinking chocolates because - why not!

I was going to say what Genie said! And tend to shoot signs and windows too. Less expensive, as you say, and they rarely come out and tell you to put that camera away—whereas often if you try to shoot in the shop . . .

Now, if you had gone inside and posted today that it is an old print store, do you think you would have stimulated all of the guesswork that is going on today? It is better to leave it a mystery, though I am going with something on the lines of Victoria's Secret.

Lolita? I strongly suspect this is not quite an honest business. Certainly not a decent one, with a name like that. Or maybe the owner is an admirer of Vladimir Nabokov.

Guillaume, as you can see, we've all had fun conjuring up the "business"! giggle.
