Parked

Le Tour de France began yesterday in Passage du Gois.  Sadly this lovely old vélos won't be a contender.

I'd love to see them riding bicycles like these. Imagine the convenience of being able to carry their own necessities in those generous baskets. {Who needs speed in France.}

That bike in Le Tour de France would be like entering an 18-wheeler in LeMans.

And that poor old velo doesn't have a riden in spandex either! That's not fair!

Great composition -- love all the colors.

Beautiful picture Virginia, I'll take your velos over a bike in Le Tour any day, a gentle ride down a quiet pretty path (perhaps by a river) sounds much more pleasant.

How nice that there is a little bell as well. "Ring, ring -- coming through!"

Moi je préfère une gentille promenade à vélo qu'une étape forcée...
Très jolie photo.
Gros bisous.

TheChief just bought a new mountain bike on sale...basically because the old one (which has hung in our garage the whole time we've been married) would've cost more to fix up and get running than it could ever be worth!!!

This is something different Virginia.
This is an art school in itself.
A complete photography class.
I know I must go through it from your first post.

Who'd ever guess this is Paris? Great shot, V, (and I'll take this bike too).
