Le Massage de Dix Minutes

Sunday on rue Mouffetard is a must for me. Unfortunately the dancers had left by the time Mary and I arrived.  Not to worry, we found this great opportunity to have a quick, but very needed massage on the street for whatever we wanted to pay.  At that point, my back was screaming for help so I was willing to pay some euros!  Mary photographed while I enjoyed myself.

The last time I had one it was hilarious, the masseur had extremely strong fingers and it was more agony rather than ecstasy. I hope yours was more the latter Virginia., what a lovely spot to sit and enjoy!

I hope Michel the Masseur was charming and handsome!

I did the same experience a month ago. I went to Rue Mouffetard to see the dancers and I found only the "brocantes" and "masseurs". Do you know by chance what happened with the dancers? Are they dancing in any other place now?

Hana, I don't know. We missed them that day because we didn't arrive till around noon. THey had already finished and walked up the street to a little cafe for lunch and more dancing inside. It was a Sunday n'est-ce pas ?

Yes, Virginie, I was there on Sunday and I came a litte later, too, but all the square was full of "brocants". I hoped only they didn´t stop to play and dance, I like them very much! As to "massage", I didn´t have it but you can see my post about it here(unfornunately not in english but with the photos): http://pariz-pro-pokrocile.blog.cz/1107/je-libo-masaz

Ahhh, sounds divine . Except, if I were in Paris it would be my feet that would need massaging!

I'll take a massage wherever I can get it. What a delightful kindness for weary tourists! I hope they make a lot of money.

How cold is it there? Why is everyone wearing coats at the end of July?

Anonymous,
This was last January when I was in Paris. We were very lucky with the weather. As you can see, I had on sweaters and a scarf. The January before, we were seeing Paris in the snow.

Of course now, with my knee issues I guess the massage guy couldn't be much help!

Oh yeah! Can't see the look on your face, but I can imagine it! I've always thought we should have a masseur on staff at work.

This seems like making the best of the situation. I have only had four or five real massages, and it wasn't clear whether I felt better before or after.
