French Strangers # 72-73
I do think this might just be two of my
favorite "strangers". (Do I say this everytime? ) Last June as I was snapping away in this photography shop at le Marché des Enfants Rouge, the gentleman on the left, the owner, asked what exactly I was photographing. I explained my Paris rouge fetish and he seemed satisfied.
Outside he and his friend were very kind to allow me this photo shoot. I'm thinking the conversation went like this: "
Smile for the crazy American photographer!" Aren't they just great?? Who says Parisians are aloof?

I love their expressions; so very French!
Haha, you get the best out of people, V!
Fabien Breuvart was a stranger to us, but is actually well-known in Paris... What an impish capture, V, and what a fun day that was!
I was there and I think you are right, I believe that is what they said (or at least thought)! :-)
Don't worry, your charm works well with everybody!
Genie,
I'm glad you got his name. When we chat today, fill me in. I might have to pay him another visit!
Peter,
Really??? I think I've been called that behind my back quite a few times in Paris !:)
Maya,
These two were just the best. It was easy.
Reves,
I thought the same thing!
Love those mugs
Great faces --if I didn't know they're French, I would know they're French! You do have a gift, V.
HI Virginia,, I know this guy and his lovely shop.. Good on you for snapping them. Happy 2011. Carla
They were just ADORABLE...that was a fun afternoon with Genie, Marie & the Divine Peter!
C'est parfait!
I love the pic you got of them.
I think they could do a skit on SNL...And would have no trouble being French!
Is the new banner to celebrate your upcoming trip???
Have fun!
HA! i knew you would love these two. I have to go back and chat this time for sure!
V
How fun are they? I love shots like this!
You make people smile, and then you capture the moment in a phote.
