Rubans Colorés

Entrée des Fournisseurs, in the Marais, specializes in buttons, ribbons, yarn, felt and trims, and much more.  I snapped this display shortly before I was told not to take photographs. Pardonnez-moi, Madame!

I find that so funny here that you have to ask to take pictures , even if it is the outside of a flower shop.

I am glad you got this image though so pretty!

Happy New Year!

Ah yes, that ribbon espionage is a serious business, V. Keep up the good work. ;)

Thanks for the warning—I must go to this place, but will be extra sneaky with my camera when I do. Glad you got this fabulous shot before you were made to desist!

Glad your camera wasn't confiscated.

I've been to that shop ... it was breathtaking! I don't think I could ever find it again though!
Who do they think you were spying for? The KGB?

I'll never understand why shop keepers don't want photos taken in their shops.

Well, it was worth getting ticked off for! But honestly.... don't they want the free publicity? I've started handing out cards with my blog address on it.

I believe that I've been to this shop too. Might it have been on Richard's tour?

I'm disappointed that I didn't see this shop because I was on a mission to find some ribbon for a friend while in Paris this past April. I did find a beautiful ribbon shop near St. Eustache and was also chastised for taking a photo.

Ack! How on earth did I miss this place! Looks like heaven to this artist. It is now on my "nest time" list. Merci!
