French Stranger #68
The Village St. Paul in the Marais is not only a treasure trove of interesting shops, but I found several "strangers" as well. Meet Olivia Clétienne, an artist who does original and restorative work. Today two photographs that caught my eye when I approached her studio. That red bucket on the old paint spattered chair caught my eye as well as the fact that she was standing in the doorway painting. She heard the click of my shutter and turned, so I walked up and talked with her for a few minutes. I have another photograph that I liked of her as well. I'll share it another day.

What a dear little elephant! I love this peek into this artist's life.
V, I also love the little peek and look forward to seeing another photo of the artist. She appears to be wearing a long paint covered apron.
The old office chair and red paint bucket are perfect for the scene!

Oh and a reflecting shot to boot!
(Merci Google Translator!)

You could have used the brush can for a Paris Rouge photo. Tomorrow at this time, we will have about ten hours to go on our flight to Frankfurt.
Olivia has found a pleasant way to spend the day, hasn't she? Love the complexity of the main shot here—and the simplicity of the red can on the old office chair. I'm glad she let you keep snapping away!
Friendly strangers... one of the many things I adored of Paris.
Nicely done V!!! I agree with Alexa...the complexity of the first and the simplicity of the second!!! Superb!!!
