Une promenade avec Poppa

What sets this photo apart, is that I captured it on Sunday, November 15, 2015, just a day after the terrorist attack. On this beautiful, sunny day, it felt like the whole city of Paris came out and embraced life again. It was a wonderful thing to witness.

The resiliency of people after a horrible event is admirable and sometimes difficult to imagine when one is traumatised. I love this photo because any photos of fathers and children gives me hope for the future of families and love. If only all cultures could be safe to enable this bonding and caring in a peaceful environment.

PS. I weep for the families and children in Aleppo and other war torn countries.

A sweet moment, particularly given the timing.
