TREIZE!

If you visited yesterday you know I found a passageway off rue des Saints Pères and investigated. What I thought was possibly an antique store at the far end, was really a delightful little shop called Treize, a baker's dozen ( note the clever signage). I will admit I spent quite a while outside photographing this charming exterior. Tomorrow, we step inside!

Mon anglais trébuche sur "la douzaine de boulanger". What does it mean, comme disait Shakespeare ?

Alain, it means that if you get a "baker's dozen", the baker gives you 12 plus one more, a lagniappe of sorts, hence 13!

Lovely photo of an equally lovely shop exterior. I am looking on my Paris map, but I cannot find rue des Saints Peres. What arrondisement is it in? I'll be in Paris in May for three days and would love to find this charming shop.
