Le parapluie et l'église

I was aimlessly wandering  the Marché Saint- Eustache-les Halles when I spotted this parapluie set up by one of the vendors. Merci Monsieur!

Now there's a contrast for you... in color, in texture, in scale.

Wishing you a tres Bonne Anne, Virginia! I am in Paris for a few days and it's either cold or very rainy and windy. 'Tis the season. Fun anyway, though I'm doing a little less running around than usual. Sending you all best for a healthy and prosperous 2014~

I love the contrast between the brightness and the curves of the umbrella against the grey bod architecture V. Wishing you a very Happy New Year.

Nice image.
In Norwegian we say PARAPLY, close to French I guess.
