Le dôme

Christmas at Galeries Lafayette is always spectacular, some years more than others.  This year I was able to photograph it from every angle. I'll admit that I still think 2008 was my absolute favorite, but I"ll share more photos in the days to come to show you why this year's décor stole my heart.

I felt that this year's tree was better (less commercial) than last year's... Anyhow, the cupola and the arcades are always there!!

I just got a chill! LOVE that place at Christmas. I'll be honest, I don't think I ever spent a dime in there...but I just loved wandering. And especially at Christmas time!

Nice shot, V! That glass ceiling really does take your breath away, doesn't it?

I do agree that the animations in the store windows in recent years have not been as wildly inventive as they were a few years ago. But they are still quite fun and the kids do not seem to be disappointed !
