Don't you just love it! A familiar sight in the Marais ... you're quick on the shutter Virginia which is why you get the shots.

Smoking in Paris, ah, when I was young I loved to sit in a café and smoke. When I grew up and quit the smell of smoke in a café became obnoxious. Paris is a much better place now that smoking is restricted.

Interesting juxtaposition: smoking and cemetery tomb sales!

a Smoker, yes, but in front of an interesting advertising, together they make a really attractive picture!

Very atmospheric! I, too, love the Marais.

At least he doesn't have far to go when the smoking kills him!

A wonderful shot—and a cautionary tale! I spent my youth the exact same way Jeff did: sitting in cafés engulfed in a cloud of smoke. :~}

Let's pretend that I got here first and wrote something witty about smoking and the cemetery stuff.

My thinking goes along with Starman's. Great shot, too.

@ Jack - you nailed it!!! Why oh why do I write first and read afterwards the comments?
Well, I know why - because I want to express MY thoughts and not just echo the others - but here it backfired slightly - up goes my grin in smoke!
