Wonderful! I like the lady in the background, lying down in the half shade...wish she were me...

What a lovely way to spend the day...nothing like reading a good book and getting a bit of color while the sun is shining. :)

At least she has kept her dress on, unlike some tourists I have spotted around the French capital lately :-) Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

I love it. Tanning is an art form here and I don't mind all the mahogany bodies like some. A

How neat Madame is. Even petit tapis isn't forgotten. Such photos of yours Virginia bring a dimension of reality to Paris, not GRAND all the time but humanly too. Thank you.

I like this capture a lot Virginia ... a Madame doing what I'd love to be doing ...wonder what she's reading? ... maybe Madame Bovary perpétré.

I like that she took a cloth on to which to rest here bare feet. That's something I would do.

I have never taken my book and just sat down in a park but I do love watching the French reading.

And with a book! One of my favorite things to do ever. Have never done it in Paris though. Must remedy that. Soon. :)
