Porte vert, les roses rouges

Jardin d'Acclimatation at the Bois de Boulogne, is a great place to take children in Paris. The little amusement park is great fun and there's a playground, small farm, and a train ride, as well as lovely gardens to stroll through.  I'd take this over Paris Disneyland ANY DAY!

Simple, but beautiful and once again so "my Paris".

Funny you should say that, V. I am going to Paris Disneyland with my son and his cousins tomorrow after I return from Nice :-) I figured I needed a 'refresher' before I re-enter American Life next week. Ha! Ha! Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

I do like the way the green of the rose leaves gives way to the pastel green of the timber door.

What an enchanting doorway Virginia, this little playground sounds like a much more appealing prospect than Paris Disneyland, way too many people there.

I'm sure that Snow White would much rather leave beyond this door than door in Disney.

I've never been to the Bois de Boulogne, not to Paris Disneyland.

Love the color pallet here. Greens, red, and natural wood!

Oh Virgina!!!!! we used to go there ALL the time! what a blast from the blast! our little boy was only 7 then. We would go and see the farm first then go for a ride on the train. Sometimes we would rent bicycles and cycle to the lake and go on the paddle steamer to the little island with the peacocks - did you go there - it's a great place for a picnic!! Thanks for bringing back all the memories Viginia.
