I'm currently reading "metronome" by Lorent Deutsch, and this museum comes back often as the place where to find many memories of the history of PAris.

If I were there, I definitely would not miss it; in fact, if I were there I definitely would not miss the Marais!

For a moment there I thought you had taken a photo inside my home - NOT! Very lovely. I do appreciate when you show us interesting scenes from inside the fabulous buildings of Paris. I'm always so focused on the out of doors when I'm there. You've got a great eye for that sort of thing!!

I go here pretty much every time I'm in Paris—and I'm starting to miss it again. You too, I'll bet.

Such inviting steps! Reminds me that I have not finished reading the book on Madame Sevigne...by now I'm sure it's tucked away in some secret hiding place.

Tres grand staircase beautifully shown here Virginia, perfect shadows on the sculpture at the bottom of the stairs.
p.s. I knew you wouldn't have the slightest doubt as to where my photos were taken, too easy oui!

Paris definitely needs to get moving on their project to make the city more handicapped friendly.

This was one of my favorite museums in Paris, and isn't that staircase the best?
