Café avec amis

Saturday afternoon,  after walking all over the Marais, Peter and I met my sweet friend and fabulous photographer Carla Coulson for coffee at Le Voltiguer on rue Frances Bourgeois.  We enjoyed hearing about new book, Chasing the Dream, and her travels to Italy and Australia this year as well as some exciting ideas she's working on.  The only downside was that husband Francesco could not join us!  (If you've seen him on her blog you'll understand,)  Mary joined us before we parted and I was able to get this cute photo of the group.

Today, Genie (Paris and Beyond), Holly, Peter (Peter's Paris) and Owen ( Magic Lantern Show) and I are touring Saint-Denis , and  Mary is "doing" the Louvre.  The weather is still gorgeous. Sunday it was colder but blue skies are still shining on Paris!

How great to be able to meet up with friends and to exchange ideas, catch up and enjoy time exploring Paris. Am I allowed to be just a tad envious?

wonderful !
I feel like I personally know Carla, Peter and you..
I agree that 'his gorgeousness' not being there was definitely a minus.
You picked a beautiful corner in the Marais with the Muju shop in the background.
You also picked the right time to come, weatherwise... we have more or less the same weather here .. so happy the sun is shining for your visit.
Next time I have to come down and meet you and some of the Paris blogger or you simply have to explore a little more of what's above Paris.
Have fun!

So much fun for you, and for me, finally, a chance to put faces on names I see daily posted out there, in cyberspace. You have been meeting with some favorite people of mine, lucky lady! Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

I so envy you this day. Peter, the delicious Peter, of course and Carla. I adore Carla's photography. She is one generous lady too with her photography advice. I learn a ton from her. Plan on buying her recent book. Have her first two and adore them.

Hooray, I'm so happy for you, V! What a highlight. Carla is such a wonderful ambassador for Australia, and for following your intuition.
